A workshop rather than a lecture series. Arc covers numerical foundations through retrieval systems, agents, evaluation, serving and a self-defined capstone that must run end to end for a fortnight without hand-holding.

How teaching works here

Work orders, not lectures

Each unit opens with a stated input, method, output and hour count. You know what you're taking on before the week starts.

Written, line-by-line review

Artefacts are reviewed in writing by practising engineers. Feedback is specific, not generic. Office hours are one-to-one.

Honest prerequisites

Every course lists what you need to know beforehand, plainly. The practitioner programme involves a technical conversation before enrolment so both sides can decide honestly.

Plain functions, not class hierarchies

Examples are written in idiomatic, readable Python. Code is meant to be understood, not admired.

Common questions

Do I need a machine learning background to enrol? +
No. The prerequisite for most courses is professional software experience and comfortable Python. The courses teach you how to work with AI systems, not how to prove theorems. The six-month programme does cover numerical foundations from the start.
Are sessions recorded? +
Yes. All live sessions are recorded and available to enrolled participants for the duration of the course. Recordings do not replace attendance for sessions that include live review or Q&A.
What is the time commitment per week? +
It varies by course. Reading Research Papers is roughly five hours per week (two live, three reading). Prompt and Context Engineering is three hours of live sessions plus preparation time. The six-month programme expects twelve to fifteen hours a week including self-directed work and review.
Are team seats available for the prompt course? +
Yes. Prompt and Context Engineering for Teams is designed for cohorts up to twelve people working on their own product. Individual seats on the public cohort are also available. Send an enquiry with your team size and we can go from there.
What is the fee and how is it paid? +
Fees are listed plainly on each course: RM 640 for the four-week course, RM 1,780 for the three-week team course, RM 4,700 for the six-month programme. Payment details are shared after an enquiry. No fees are collected before enrolment is confirmed.
Does completing a course result in a credential? +
Participants who complete the course work receive a completion letter. Modelcraft does not issue regulated qualifications. The value is in the work you produce and the feedback you receive — not a document.
How is personal information handled? +
Contact information submitted through an enquiry is used only to respond to that enquiry and, if you enrol, to run the course administration. It is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
