- "Content" — written materials, recordings, code, templates and other materials provided as part of a Course.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry form or confirming enrolment in a Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them before enquiring or enrolling.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to enrol in a Course.
3. Course Description and Availability
Modelcraft offers three part-time AI development courses for software developers. Course descriptions, prerequisites, scope, workload and fees are published on the website. Modelcraft reserves the right to modify course content, schedule, or delivery format with reasonable notice to enrolled participants.
Courses are delivered primarily in English online, with sessions based on Malaysian time (MYT). A pre-enrolment conversation is required for the Six-Month Practitioner Programme before a place is confirmed.
Modelcraft does not offer regulated qualifications. Completion letters are issued at the end of courses where all required work has been submitted.
4. Enrolment and Confirmation
An enquiry does not constitute enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed in writing by Modelcraft after any required pre-enrolment steps are completed. A place in a cohort is reserved only upon confirmation and receipt of the course fee.
Cohort sizes are limited. If a cohort is full at the time of confirmation, we will offer placement on the next available cohort or a full refund.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) on each course page. Current fees:
- Reading Research Papers Without Drowning: RM 640 per participant
- Prompt and Context Engineering for Teams: RM 1,780 per participant
- Six-Month Practitioner Programme: RM 4,700 per participant
Payment is due in full before the course start date unless a separate written payment arrangement has been agreed. Modelcraft will provide payment instructions upon confirmation of enrolment.
Fees are stated inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund, but we may offer a transfer to the next cohort at our discretion.
If Modelcraft cancels a course, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of the course fee. Modelcraft is not liable for any costs incurred in preparation for attendance (travel, accommodation, etc.).
7. Participant Responsibilities
As a participant, you agree to:
- Engage with course material and submit work in accordance with the schedule and standards described in the course work orders.
- Treat other participants and instructors with respect in cohort channels and live sessions.
- Not share recordings, course materials or written reviews externally without written permission from Modelcraft.
- Not use course materials to derive or create competing educational products.
- Not submit work produced by others as your own for the purpose of review.
8. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including but not limited to reading protocols, repository templates, regression harnesses, written feedback documents, and session recordings, are the intellectual property of Modelcraft unless otherwise stated.
Work produced by participants as part of course artefacts (code, written summaries, capstone projects) remains the property of the participant. Modelcraft will not use participant work for any purpose outside course administration without consent.
Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use Modelcraft-provided templates and reference repositories for their own professional work. This licence does not extend to redistribution or resale.
9. Disclaimers
Modelcraft courses are educational programmes delivered by practising engineers. We make no representation that completion of a course will result in employment, a change in role, or any specific professional outcome. Content reflects the instructors' experience and knowledge at the time of delivery and may not reflect all current industry practices.
Courses are provided on an "as delivered" basis. We do not represent that all technical content will remain accurate indefinitely given the pace of change in AI systems.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Modelcraft's liability to you in connection with a Course is limited to the course fee you paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your participation in or inability to participate in a Course.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Modelcraft against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your conduct in cohort channels or sessions, or your misuse of course materials.
12. Termination
Modelcraft may remove a participant from a course, without refund, where the participant has materially breached these Terms, including by conduct that disrupts other participants or by sharing protected materials without permission.
A participant may withdraw from a course at any time. Refund eligibility is as described in section 6.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with enrolment in a Modelcraft course shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
We encourage informal resolution of disputes in the first instance. Contact us at [email protected] with a description of the issue.
14. General
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Modelcraft in respect of a Course.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without written consent. Modelcraft may assign its obligations in connection with a transfer of the business.
15. Changes to These Terms
Modelcraft may update these Terms from time to time. Enrolled participants will be notified of material changes by email. Continued participation in a Course after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
